Group Description:

A relaxed and sociable monthly wine-tasting group combining an exploration of wines with good food and conversation.

At each meeting we will explore wines made from at least two different grape varieties, selected from different wine-producing regions. We will taste and compare the wines, learning about their grape varieties, origins and individual characteristics.

To accompany the wines, each member will bring a small dish to share – our own “pranzetta” or “tapas”. Dishes will be agreed in advance with the Group Leader to ensure a varied and complementary selection. The cost of the wines will be shared equally between the members attending and will not exceed £7 per person per meeting. The group will meet on the last Tuesday of each month at the Group Leader’s home.
