Alastair Greener spent sixteen years working in the cruise industry heading up the entertainment department on fourteen ships, including the legendary QE2 and and Queen Mary 2. During his career at sea he travelled the world sailing over three million nautical miles. He is now a TV presenter, professional conference host and keynote speaker on communication skills.
He is going to tell us today about the fascinating journey through the history of one of the world’s most iconic maritime companies. From the early days of Samuel Cunard , the talk looks at how the company was at the cutting edge of the industry. With the help of over a hundred pictures, the audience is able to see how the company evolved and the people who were responsible for making the Cunard liners and ships so special and memorable.
